  • Review Summary:

  • GoDaddy is easily the biggest Domain Enterprise in the World. Auctions are great and it offers a lot of services, but at expense of a higher average cost against smaller competitors.

Pros

- Biggest Domain Name Provider - Offers all in one website solutions if you need - Auctions accounts are great

Cons

- Price is a little bit higher than other competitors - They tend to add a lot of stuff to your cart trying to make you pay more

godaddy domain review

GoDaddy is probably the biggest Domain Name provider in the web for a reason (they also pay the superbowl’s ads once in a while). GoDaddy offers Domains, Hosting and Website installation with templates, but I merely use it for the Domain Names.

I’ve heard a lot of good things from GoDaddy in the support area, except for a few cases, and that’s good to know. but perhaps the most important area for me is the auctions area where you can easily buy aged or High PR domains without having to pay thousands for them.

Domain prices usually start at $12, and they can go up to a few thousand dollars depending on the name, and the assistant is good enough to recommend similar names in case the one you look for is already taken.

The only thing I hate about them is that every time you want to buy something, they’ll try to add a lot of extra services so that you end paying more. But again, this is somehow reasonable from an enterprise point of view.

GoDaddy is easily the biggest Domain Enterprise in the World. Auctions are great and it offers a lot of services, but at expense of a higher average cost against smaller competitors.
